Sephora sale must haves

Sephora sale must haves

Hi babes!

I hope quarantine is going as well as it can be for you. I hope that you are working on yourself during this time to come out better than ever. The Sephora sale is happening and of course, if you don’t have the means to be shopping right now, just be doing what’s best for you. I am just sharing my current routine and what products I use, what’s on my wish list, and the other items I regularly use! Enjoy :)

Please note: to shop any of the items, you can just click on the product and it will direct you straight to the Sephora website. These are affiliate links where I make a small (usually $1-$4) commission if you purchase using the link. It helps support my business as a blogger and is no extra cost to you.

Every day make up routine:

Primer: I have been testing out a bunch of different primers, but the Laura Mercier one just always happens to be my go-to

Foundation: I’ve tried SO many foundations and the Dior has by far been my favorite. I love the coverage. It’s enough but not too much and doesn’t feel too heavy.

Concealer: I usually use tarte shape tape (but that’s exclusive to Ulta) so from sephora I use my Nars or Laura Mercier. I love full coverage, bright concealer.

Lashes: I used to use the lash strips from Lilly Lashes in Miami (or Mykonos) but I have currently been focusing on wearing more natural lashes

Hightlight: You NEED this Dior highlight palette. It comes with 4 shades and is so versatile. I use the yellow-ish color for regular highlight on my cheeks & nose. I use the bronze color to help contour & I use it for eyeshadow as well. I use the lightest color in the crease of my eyes. I got this palette on last year’s sale and it’s still going strong. I probably won’t need to replace it for another year at least

Bronzer: I switch between so many but I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills one & I just got the Tower 28 one in the mail so I’m excited to incorporate that one into my routine as well.

Blush: I never use too much blush but I add a touch on top of my bronzer on my cheeks. The tarte one has always been my go to. It’s the perfect touch of pink that’s subtle and not too in your face.

Lip combo: My go to is a neutral lip color but I am loving Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk. It’s a neutral pink color and I love the consistency of it. I usually finish off the look with some gloss.

Setting Powder: I always set my concealer and contour with the Laura Mercier setting powder. This is probably my holy grail item.

Eyeshadow: I love the colors on the nude palette by Huda beauty if I’m doing more pink tones, but if I’m doing a natural look, I use my bronzer!

Eyeliner: (not pictured) I have been using the benefit liquid eyeliner lately and I love it. Shop it HERE

Setting Spray: I have used and loved the urban decay setting spray for years and it lives up to the hype. I always finish off my make up looks with this and it does well all day.

Items on my wishlist:

These items I have been eyeing for awhile. Both fragrances smell amazing & they are very aesthetic as well. I’ve been dying to try the lipstick shade & the summer friday’s new lip balm. Lastly, I’m a huge fan of the IGK dry shampoo so I want to try the texture spray next!

Beauty tools I use:

There’s nothing to crazy in this section. I’ve started jade rolling more and using my eye lash curler since I’ve been trying to wear mascara instead of putting on lashes lately!

Skincare products in my current line up:

My newest editions have been Drunk elephant & I’m in love. All their products are amazing! I’ve also been loving the first aid beauty wipes. Kopari is another one of my favorite clean beauty brands. I’ve used the lipgloss forever & I’ve been using the rose spray every day since I bought it. Everything else I’ve been using for over a year now.

Haircare holy grails:

My go to hair brand is The Ouai. I’ve tried almost every single product they have and they are my favorite. I use the shampoo & conditioner when I wash my hair. Then I use the memory mist & texture spray when styling. I also love the leave in conditioner, wave spray & hair and body oil. Oh! and they have fragrances and I love them I honestly just love the brand overall.

Other hair products: I use the IGK dry shampoo, Briogeo & Unite Hair.

Fragrance obsession:

I am a huge fragrance girl. I love smelling good and I love light floral scents typically. My current go to scents are the ouai (not pictured) North Bondi & Melrose Place. I have always been of fan of the gucci scents. Gucci guilty is definitely stronger and for special occasions & gucci bloom is a more light, every day scent. Obviously, Chanel is a staple. My favorite is coco mademoiselle and I want to try the new L’eau. I’ve also been eyeing the Maison Margiela for a while - the price tag is a bit hefty though. I think I’m ready to do it though because I’ve been using the smaller one for months now.

Foundation options:

Must have mini kits:

Hopefully, these collages were helpful! These are products that I’ve used for months now (except for the wish list category). I love trying new products and changing up my routines. I definitely have my ride or dies that I will always use and that just work for me (the ouai products 100%).

Let me know if you try any of these products or what your favorite products are in the comments below! Whenever I buy new makeup / skincare products I always wait to see other people review it first because I don’t want to try something just for the hype, I want to make sure it’s actually good.

Well that’s all for now! It’s been awhile since I wrote a blog post and I intend to write more!

Xx,

Allysa
